Obituary of Larry L. Hersey, Sr.

Larry L. Hersey, Sr. Bangor – Larry L. Hersey, 71, passed away in Bangor, June 17, 2016 after a long illness. Larry worked for the Bangor Police Department retiring after 20 years of service later worked for 10 years for the US Marshall’s Service in Bangor. He loved to fish all over the State of Maine and on Lake Ontario. Larry and Linda made many trips to Florida in the winter months and loved every minute of it. Surviving are his loving partner and best friend of 22 years, Linda Nason Thibeau; his three sons, Larry, Jr, Steve and Todd; nine grandchildren; his sisters, Cathy and Linda. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Dick and by a sister, Carol. He will be missed greatly by Linda and his family and by many wonderful friends. Rest in peace, Larry and know you will never, never be forgotten. Larry requested that no formal services be held and his wishes were to be cremated with his ashes being scattered at one of his and Linda’s favorite places.
