VEAZIE –– Glen T. Tinkham, 77, died Sunday morning, Sept. 11th, 2016, with his wife by his side after a valiant fight with cancer. He was born on June 14, 1939, in Passadumkeag to Reginald E. and Grace (Page) Tinkham. Glen was a welder, carpenter and "Jack of all trades". He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time at the camp. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his soul mate, Pauline (Bouchard) Tinkham. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pauline; sons Reginald, Glen, Timothy; daughter Donna. He was predeceased by daughter Rosemary on June 24, 2012, and by sister Alice-Jean. He considered his in-law's to be his siblings and will be sadly missed by sisters-in law Geraldine, Mary Jane, Carleen, Doreen, Barbara, Bonnie; brother's in-law Edmund, Paul and Lawrence; He is also survived by many other friends who admired him. A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Veazie at a time and date to be announced. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from family and friends and the Drs. and nurses who gave him such wonderful care at St. Joseph's Hospital.
