Jimmy was a mainstay at Pine Hill when I was in college, visiting many winter days, usually with his good friend, Jerry Goody. Jimmy was a raconteur of the first order, with a bountiful collection of stories about the cast of characters who peopled South Brewer, back in the day. He was a kind man and very well-liked by the guys in the clubhouse. I enjoyed hundreds of hours with him there and then, and remember him fondly.
