It is with great sorrow that I learned of the passing of uncle Gerry. Such a generous person. His visits back home in Northwestern New Brunswick were always very pleasant but too short of a stay for many of his nephews and nieces. The dinner we had in the Old City in Quebec is a souvenir that I will cherish forever. Dan, Mimi, David, and Mark, please accept, on behalf of my family, our deepest sympathies. Uncle is now in heaven with his Marie-Claire..

Gerry , a fellow County Boy was always so willing to help me statagize programs and future growth for Residential Life. Our Lovee for Hockey made a special bond and wonderful time. Gerry will always be figuring out complex systems. Paul Pangburn

Gerry was a great colleague and I always enjoyed working with him. He was always ready to support worthwhile projects and always eager to help Maine develop. He was a tremendous leader for the State of Maine and really got the state into networking. His work on the School and Library network was foundational. He will be missed.

Gerry Dube was my professor, my advisor, my mentor and friend. His teaching and advice was foundational in my career as a computer networking professional. I was proud to be known as one of Gerry's kids, as many of students were called in the computer networking community. His teaching lives on in his students and in my students also as I followed in his footsteps to become a computer science professor. I will miss him!
