Obituary of Raymond B. Webb
Dedham - Raymond Bither Webb, 80, of Dedham passed away on Feb. 19, 2025. Raymond was born on June 9, 1944, in Houlton, ME, the son of Raymond W. and Mary Bither Webb. He graduated from Houlton High School in 1962 and Ricker College in 1967. He was married to Linda M. Porter for 59 years.
For most of Raymond’s working years, he was in the business of buying and selling lumber. His greatest enjoyment in life was his family and working in his woodshop. He was a member of Dedham Congregational Church, Monument Lodge #96 AF&AM, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Bangor, Anah Shrine, and Milwee Chapter #198 Order of Eastern Star.
Raymond was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Norma J. Boutilier. He is survived by his wife Linda of Dedham; a son, Hartley and wife Kelly of Dedham and a daughter, Lisa Jordan and partner Scott Martin of Eddington; five grandchildren, Krystal Brown, Mandi Hermansen, Kyle Webb, Sally and Lydia Jordan; six great grandchildren; a brother, Peter Webb and wife Marie of Stetson, a sister, Jane Weston and husband Charles of Newburgh; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Linneus Cemetery in Linneus, ME. Memorial gifts may be made in his memory to Dedham Congregational Church or Shriners’ Hospital for Children.
