My sincere condolences to John and Johnny, I was very privileged to have met Heidi when I student technology tutor at Hudson College. Heidi came in one day and asked for help. We became good friends. Many years later I was hired as a consultant to work for John Cobb at Emera Maine at the time… only to find out that he was married to Heidi. We were able to reconnect one day at a movie put on by the company . It was so good to meet up again after many years since college.
I have never forgotten Heidi and I will continue to remember her in prayers.
GOD Bless!

Aunt Heidi was one of the biggest influences and purest loves of my formative years. How lucky was I to have known that! Until we meet again, my hope is that we always hear her laughter and may she know how loved she was.

My deepest condolences to all family and friends of my Aunt Heidi during this difficult time. My Aunt Heidi was, and always will be, an inspiration for me. She was an extremely strong pillar of support for myself and my Mom throughout my youth and beyond. I never expected or imagined such an illness would be in her life, and am very thankful that her husband John, my Mom, family and more, have been there to help her. I will miss her greatly.

Heidi was an amazing wife and mother. She had a genuine warmth that you could feel in her presence. She and John raised a remarkable young man, Johnny. Her light and love will live on in him. Sending thoughts of peace and comfort to your family.

Ode to my Dear Wife
Heidi was the perfect girlfriend and wife for me.
Throughout much of my twenties, I didn’t have many romantic opportunities. I lacked confidence with women and worked at jobs that didn’t pay well, so during that lonely period, I felt I had little to offer a prospective girlfriend.
Eventually, I met Heidi through my work when I installed and supported a new telephone system for her employer. Straightaway, I noticed a pretty young lady, who was smart and thoughtful. Additionally, she had a humorous and mischievous nature that she hid from those she didn’t know well. Over the next months, I frequently used her trash bin and had her sign my work orders for any chance to spark conversations. Still, I lacked confidence to ask her out. Fortunately, I became more familiar with one of her coworkers and asked about her. Without hesitation, he encouraged me to go for it.
Anyhow, I called Heid at work and asked in a stammering voice if she might be interested going on a date—with me—and to my delight, she actually said yes, and the rest is history.
Heidi and I enjoyed a passionate courtship, and within six months, we moved in together. After a year, we married, and after thirty plus years, our feelings only deepened, and never wavered. Thankfully, Heidi blended well with my own family, who are widely known as layabouts and outlaws. We raised a fine son, who we always referred to as our greatest treasure. Heidi and I never claimed to be a perfect union, but we always kindled mutual affection and reciprocal respect. We consoled each other during family crises like family members passing away and unexpected health scares. By and large, ours was a happy marriage.
Heidi was an empathetic and kind person. Gifted with the ability to get people to open up about themselves. She acted as a dutiful caregiver to her father, brother, and mother as they suffered through the pitfalls of advancing age and dire health issues.
Heidi made me a better man and person. She didn’t suffer my bullshit and called me out when I was too full of myself. At the same time, she supported and helped me realize my own dreams.
Heidi was a wonderful mother, attentive, nurturing, and protective. She adored our son, Johnny, as he grew into a fine young man. As evidenced by my slideshow, my wife and son were very close.
I hope Heidi is now with her departed family, friends, and pets, and she won’t know the long years, I may have ahead of me without her.
I love you always and forever, my dearest Heidi.
With infinite love,
Husband
