Obituary of Linda Theresa Lare
Hermon—Linda Theresa Lare, 74, passed away with her family surrounding her on June 22, 2025 in Bangor after a long illness. She was born in Caribou September 22, 1950, the daughter of Lawrence and Thelma (Gendreau) Gagnon.
Linda loved her family with her whole heart, if someone called, she answered. She and Troy had an amazing adventure called life. Whether getting together with friends, traveling to Europe, Hawaii or even a few cruises, her smile lit up the room and she was always willing to make new friends.
Linda was a very caring and compassionate lady. Throughout her life, she was a long-time paramedic, a public safety dispatcher and worked at the NICU at EMMC. She always did her best to make everyone else’s pain go away and cared deeply for them. Linda was also very active in her parish family serving as a communion minister and had key roles in the “Way of the Cross” processionals.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, sister Elaine and sister Lorraine. She is survived by husband Troy of Hermon; daughter Amy Miquelon and husband Gerry; son Mike Shaw; godson Chris Gagnon and wife Megan; three grandchildren and a great-grandson; brother James Gagnon and wife Sharon; sister Carlene Deschenes and husband Romeo; many nieces and nephews.
