Obituary of LeighAnne Kelley Pettit

LeighAnne Kelley Petitt, aged 56, of Memphis, TN, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025 in Bangor, ME. Born on November 8, 1968, LeighAnne lived a life marked by love, devotion, and an ever-present faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ.

A dedicated over-the-road truck driver, LeighAnne was known for her adventurous spirit and tireless work ethic. Whether traversing the open highways or gathering with family, her vibrant personality shone through, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.

She is lovingly survived by her life partner and co-driver, Carl White, who stood by her side through life's journey. Her mother, Patricia Kelley of Hermitage, TN, provided unwavering love and support. LeighAnne leaves behind cherished memories with her siblings, Karen Angle and husband, Jeff of Hermitage, TN, Joseph Kelley of Enid, OK, Kristi Kelley of St. Louis, MO, and Tim Kelley and wife Caroline of Bartlett, TN. As a devoted aunt, LeighAnne embraced her role with joy, treating her nine nieces and nephews as if they were her own children. Her warmth, humor, and guidance touched their lives in profound ways, leaving a legacy filled with love and laughter.

A woman of Baptist faith, LeighAnne found immense joy in singing about her Savior, spreading messages of hope and love through music. Her faith was her cornerstone, guiding her through both triumph and tribulation. LeighAnne now joins her father, Jerry N. Kelley, in eternal rest, leaving behind a rich tapestry of memories for those who were blessed to know her.

Though she has departed from this earthly life, LeighAnne’s spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of her loved ones—a testament to a life well-lived, filled with love, strength, and unwavering faith.

Family and friends may visit from 3:00 to 4:00 PM Satruday, July 5, 2025 at the Old Hickory Methodist Church, 1216 Hadley, Ave., Old Hickory where a service honoring LeighAnne's life will be held at 4:00 PM as the vistation concludes. Pastor Jim Harris, presiding.
