Obituary of Leroy L. Simon
Leroy L. Simon, 63, died December 19, 2025 in Bangor. He was born March 7, 1962 in Old Town, the son of Charles E. and Lorraine R. (Stoddard) Simon.
Leroy grew up in Danforth. He served in the US Army in the early 1980’s. He worked for many years in the logging industry, operating various heavy equipment. He spent his spare time working on cars, time with family, and enjoying the outdoors.
Surviving are six children, Jennifer Packard and her husband, Albert of Abbot, Samantha Anderson and her husband, Marcus of Cheyenne Wyoming, Ethan Simon of Dover-Foxcroft, Miranda Bruyette and her husband, Brian of Skowhegan, Matthew Simon and Shawn Simon both of Lincoln; 9 grandchildren; three brothers, Roger Simon and his wife, Violet of Danforth, Timothy Simon of Hudson, and Sheldon Simon and his wife, Tanya of Houlton; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Charles Simon and his sister Terry Simon.
