One year Dick and I both started with a pocket knife, we traded up or for something that we know another person wanted , at the end of a year the one with the most value won. I don’t remember who won but we both had amassed quite a bit. I remember one thing Dick had was a stainless steel 357
Great memories of a great friend

Dick was one of the nicest, soft spoken man I have ever known. I never had a chance to spend much time with him but when I did I always enjoyed talking about the printing industry. I to was a commercial printer for almost 40 years.
I had the honor of hunting whitetail deer with Dick on day in the North Maine Woods. Sometime during the day I noticed he was carrying a sling shot in his pocket. When I asked him why he told me it was his secret weapon. Any one who hunted with Dick will know what he used it to hunt whitetails. Rest in peace Dick your secret is safe with me. Respectfully, Tim Stewart

I was so sorry to hear about Dick. I worked with him for many years. Loved his sense of humor, all his stories. He was always there to help me with whatever machine I was working on. I bought my first snowblower from him. And he all laughed as he left the building saying "got to get out of this fire trap!" He will be missed. My condolences to all his family.
