Obituary of Bruce L. Corey
Bruce L. Corey, 77, of Brewer, died peacefully March 26, 2026 with his family by his side after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Bruce was a graduate of Hampden Academy 1966. Bruce's professional career consisted of driving the "big" trucks for Grant's Dairy, JJ. Nissan and H.O. Bouchard.
Bruce was predeceased by his wife of 37 years, Terri and both of his parents Otha and Nina Corey. Bruce leaves behind a son Marc Corey of Orrington; a daughter Michelle and her husband Chad LaBree of Bangor; 3 cherished grandchildren: Alexa & her husband Cameron Lindsley, Ashley Tanguay & Brock Corey. Later in life, Bruce met his special friend Carol, with whom he spent the last 15 years. Bruce also leaves behind 3 brothers, Steven and his wife Carolyn of Brewer, Gary and his wife Marie of Newburyport, MA and Richard and his wife Ellen of So. China.
Per Bruce's wishes, there will be no services. Memorial gifts may be made in honor of Bruce & Terri Corey to the Bangor Humane Society, 693 Mt. Hope Ave., Bangor, ME 04401 or at bangorhumane.org.
