Obituary of Beryl J Marsh

Beryl J. (Gray) Marsh, 96, wife of the late Paul Marsh, Sr., died April 8, 2026 in Dover-Foxcroft where she had recently resided. She was born Feb. 28, 1930 the daughter of daughter of John and Agnes (Patterson) Gray.

Beryl lived in North Ellsworth in her early years moving to Brewer in the 1940’s where she was a longtime resident and a proud 1949 graduate of Brewer High School. She married Paul Marsh, Sr on June 5, 1951who passed Oct. 9, 1992. She had been a member of Calvary Baptist Church since 1961 and was very active in music, women's groups and the children's Sunday School program. Beryl was an avid newspaper reader following the local and national news. She was very interested in genealogy and worked tirelessly recording all of the information she was able to find.

Beryl is survived by many nieces and nephews and will be remembered by friends and her church family. She was predeceased by her son, Paul "Scott" Marsh in January 2025.

A graveside service and committal for both Beryl and Paul “Scott” Marsh will held 2:00 PM Wednesday, Juned 24, 2026 at Woodlawn Cemetery, North Main St., Brewer. Messages and memories of Beryl may be shared on the tribute wall of kileyandfoley.com.
