Obituary of Christina Marie Langley
Christina Marie Langley, 32, died unexpectedly June 8, 2026, at Eastern Maine Medical Center. Christina was born April 8, 1994, in Bangor, Maine, to Connie Shueman and Bart Langley.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her bonus mom, Denise Brooker; her brother, Chad Langley; her grandmother, Belinda Langley; her aunts, Amy and Laura; and three beautiful children, AnnaMae, Blake, and Zavier.
Christina was a smart and beautiful young woman who endured a lot in her young life. She learned to be resourceful and how to survive in the face of adversity. She loved animals and would rescue any stray she came across. She had a tender and gentle spirit. Life wasn't always as kind to her as she tried to be to it and subsequently Christina developed a substance use disorder that she struggled with for years. She was recently engaged with a rehab and recovery program and was hoping to pursue her goals of getting back to work, taking flying lessons, and repairing family relationships that had been strained.
Those that truly loved Christina, and especially her children, will grieve the things that Christina will never get to accomplish and the milestones that she won't see her kids meet. While we could not save her life, we will always remember her with great love and with great honor that in her final hours, her wish to be an organ donor saved the lives of many others.
A private burial and memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Bangor Humane Society, 693 Mt. Hope Ave., Bangor, ME 04401 or at bangorhumane.org. Messages and memories of Christina may be shared on the tribute wall of kileyandfoley.com.
