Edmund T. Beaulieu

Brewer – Edmund T. Beaulieu, 93, passed away August 13, 2026 in Bangor.  Ed was born August 24, 1932 in Madawaska, the son of Edmund and Monique (Albert) Beaulieu.  Ed graduated from Houlton High School and Ricker College and earned a master’s degree in education from the University of Maine. Ed was a US Army veteran of the Korean War serving as a medic. Ed taught school for many years (55) from 1958 to 2013. The majority of his career was spent at Brewer High School where he taught chemistry and driver’s ed.  Ed was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Parish.  He was a proud and active Fourth Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus.  

Ed was a man that lent a helping hand to anyone that needed help and unselfishly shared his wealth of knowledge to his students, family and friends. Ed and Marilyn were married for 62 years and they enjoyed dancing at Saturday Nighters for 50 years.  He enjoyed time with his family at the family camp on East Grand Lake, skiing, camping and attending Knights of Columbus functions. 

He was predeceased by his wife Marilyn “Trudy” Beaulieu, his sister Rita, brother Frank, and son-in-law, Mark Farnham. He was survived by his siblings Doris and her husband Cliff Kilfoil, Carl Beaulieu, Francis and wife Mary Beaulieu, Anne and husband John Rhodes and Teresa Eagers.

Ed is survived by his four children Linda Chasnov, Diane Farnham, Michael Beaulieu and Steven Beaulieu.  

Linda Chasnov and her husband David of Bluffton, SC, two kids Brett and his wife Hanin and child Elliana and soon to be Baby Chasnov.  Linda and Davids other son Tyler and his wife Nicole and their kids Cameron, Carter and Caroline.  Diane Farnham of Hermon.  Steve Beaulieu and his girlfriend Erin.  Michael and wife Evelyn Beaulieu of Orono and kids Barry and his wife Mathy Terrill and children Delaney and Griffen.  Mike and Evelyn’s other son Brandon and wife Madi Terrill and children Anika and Silas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Wednesday Aug 19, 2026 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 768 Ohio Street Bangor Maine 04401. The funeral mass will be livestreamed via the church website https://stpaulbangor.me/watch-mass-live.  Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor.  For those who wish memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, St. Paul of the Apostle Church, 217 York St, or the Knights of Columbus.
