Obituary of Anne M. Seeley

Holden - Our mom, Anne M. (Kelley) Seeley, 86, passed away peacefully with us by her side on October 3, 2022. She was born in Bucksport and resided in Holden until her passing. 

Mom is predeceased by her husband, Ray Seeley and survived by the three of us, Jeff Seeley (wife Linda), Rae Ann Stanwood (husband Bryant) and Stacy Seeley (partner Mike Goodwin).  She has four grandchildren, Ben Stanwood, Justin Tarlow, Lyndsey Tarlow and Morgan Kimball and one great-grandchild, Riley Stanwood.  She is survived by two sisters, Florence Billado and Linda Bridges and a special brother-in-law, Oscar Bridges and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother and father, John and Dorothy Kelley, her brother, Buster “Buck” Kelley, Patricia “Pat” Young.

Our mom loved her family.  Always there to support us, cheering us on and reminding us when we could do better.  She was a sweet soul offering nothing but kindness to everyone she met.  She enjoyed her bingo, bowling and her Red Sox.  She loved to bake!  Known for her apple pie and gingersnap cookies.  She will be greatly missed by all of us.  We will never forget her smile, her laugh and her love.
