Brewer—John W. Campbell, 99, husband of the late Virginia (Jacobs) Campbell, passed away May 7, 2017 at the Bangor Veterans Home. He was born April 17, 1918 in Brewer, the son of Joseph E. and Beulah (Leland) Campbell. John attended Brewer schools and married his wife of 73 years in 1943 in North Carolina while in basic training for the Army. They ultimately made their home in Brewer.
