Obituary of Beverly A. Swift

Beverly A. “Mimi” Swift Brewer – Beverly A. “Mimi” Swift, 66, died peacefully October 29, 2015 at a Bangor hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born March 29, 1949 in East Orange, NJ, the daughter of Donald and Helen (O’Connor) Lee. Everyone knew and loved Beverly as “Mimi” and her life revolved around her children and grandchildren. She never missed a sporting or school event her grandchildren had and took pride in creating memories and keeping traditions alive with her family. Mimi was a devoted Patriots and Red Sox fan and always looked forward to watching or attending games. Surviving is her best friend and life partner, Richard Wheeling of Plymouth, MA; her two children, William D Swift and his wife, Lisa of Bradley and Sally Fick and her husband, Thomas of Brewer; six grandchildren, Nicholas and Natalie Swift of Bradley, Olivia and Brooklyn Fick of Brewer, Jake and Jenna Wheeling of Hanson, MA; former husband and friend, William R Swift of Corinna and her two special friends, Holly Scott and Tonya Evans. She was much more than a daycare provider. She loved Grace, Ellie and Carter as she did her own grandchildren and made them part of her family. She was predeceased by her parents Donald and Helen Lee and her sister Barbara Lee. Family and friends may visit 11 AM to 1 PM Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer where a Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be held at 1 PM as the visitation concludes. Burial will be private. Following the memorial, there will be refreshments at “Mimi’s House”. Because of her love and devotion to animals, those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Bangor Humane Society, 693 B Mt. Hope Ave., Bangor, ME 04401.
