Chuck - You're in my thoughts and prayers and I am so sorry for your loss. Pat was a beautiful, wonderful and kind soul and she would do anything for you. Pat was a very special "Office Mom" to me and many others, and even after she retired, she signed her emails "O.M. (Ret)." I miss her and her friendship tremendously. I enjoyed spending time with her - she was a wonderful confidante, a fellow Republican, and a spitfire, with the most infectious laugh. She defined "hostess with the mostess." Her memory and spirit lives on in all of us who were lucky enough to know her and love her. Nicole

My condolences to Chuck and family. A real shocker to learn of Pat's passing.Talked with Pat last week in a local store, she was just her bubbly self as always.Will surely miss Pat. She was the "official" gatekeeper to former City Manager Harold Parks, and with Mgr. Steve Bost until 2012 when she retired.Pat and I worked together while I was a City Councilor for all of Pat's 23 years service to Brewer.And I have tell you, that Pat was a great 'protector' of both managers. I have to say Thank you Sue and Joe Pate for all you have done with, and for Pat, especially posting of those interesting photo's.

our sympathies and prayers go out to the Gero family. In the realm of special ladies, Pat was THE special lady.Tougher than a boiled owl, maybe, but gracious, big-hearted and classy. For so many years, Pat hosted our off campus fraternity brothers' reunion, gatherings that we will long treasure and remember. Thanks, Pat, for being who you were and sharing your home and love with us all. We will miss you.
