Obituary of Terry James Moore

Bangor--Terry James Moore, 64, passed away January 1, 2018, at a Dover-Foxcroft healthcare facility after a long illness. He was born August 3, 1953, in Baltimore, MD, to Roland Moore and Bernice Reynolds West.

 

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was proud to have served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Music was very important to Terry. He played in some local bands but was most happy while playing the guitar.

 

He is survived by daughter Kiki Bean of Glenburn; son James Moore and girlfriend Heather Simmons of Glenburn; grandchildren Cassandra Burk and husband Nate of Colorado Springs, CO, and Nicholas Bean of Glenburn; siblings Scott Moore and wife Rhonda of Franklin, TX, Valerie Grant and husband Leon of Brewer, Michael West and wife Lynn of Graham, NC, George West of Milbridge; many nieces and nephews.

 

The family would like to thank the staff at Hilltop Manor and Beacon Hospice for the wonderful care they provided Terry during his illness.

 

Family and friends are invited to visit 1-2 PM Sunday, May 20, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer.  A memorial service will follow at 2 PM and a gathering will follow the service at 105 Union St., Brewer.  Graveside services with military honors will be held 10 AM, Monday, May 21, at Maine Veterans Cemetery, Mt. Vernon Rd., Augusta.
