Dear Bob and Family.....my heart is heavy this morning as I learn of Sue’s passing. We were nursing school roommates at Mercy, she was my Maid of Honor when I married my husband Tim , and she was my friend . I last saw Sue in 2003 while my son was a patient at EMMC. It was a very difficult time for me and my family and seeing her was very comforting. As often happens with friends we lose contact over the years. Life is hectic , we have families and we all grow up busy just living our lives. However, we never forget those that helped shape who we are today. Sue was the best roommate! We laughed, cried, occasionally got into a “little bit of trouble”, but it sure was fun! Reading Sue���s obituary this morning just reinforced what I already knew. She lived a good life , followed her passion for nursing, and was a trusted and much loved wife, mother, sister and friend . Rest well my friend! Your life mattered to so many and you will be missed.
