Obituary of Nancy A. Spencer

Nancy A. Spencer, 74 of Newport,  passed away peacefully June 27, 2018 in Bangor with her family by her side. She was born October 17, 1943 to Linwood A. and Florence (Gibbs) Doane. Nancy worked many years at UCP of Maine and was involved with Boy Scouts of America.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Luther E. Spencer Jr.; her son, Bryan Spencer and his wife, Heather and special grandson, Eben,  her son, David Buker, brother-in- law, Mike Spencer and his wife, Tammi Spencer,  sister-in-law, Cindy Rogers and husband, Fred Rogers; any nieces, nephews and close friends. Nancy’s family gratefully thanks to Dr. McGoldrick, Dr. Martin and Devita for their kind and excellent care.

Family and friends may visit 5 – 7 PM Monday, July 2, 2018 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor where a service to celebrate and honor her life will be held 11 AM Tuesday, July 3, 2018 with Pastor David Morrison, presiding. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to United Cerebral Palsy of Maine, 700 Mt. Hope Ave., Suite 320, Bangor, ME  04401 or at ucpofmaine.org.
