Obituary of Mark Dean Arnold
Bangor—Mark Dean Arnold, 65, passed away July 18, 2018. He was born March 30, 1953, the son of Roscoe and Frances Arnold.
Mark attended school in Bangor and graduated from Bangor High School, Class of 1971. Mark joined the United States Navy, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer in 1997. Following his Navy retirement, he worked on a tugboat for Stevens Towing in South Carolina before settling back in Maine. Being outdoors was his favorite place to be. He spent as much time as possible hunting, fishing, and gardening. Mark was always there to help anyone who needed it.
He was predeceased by his parents; brothers Bruce Arnold, Michael Moody, Gary Arnold. Mark is survived by sons James and Jason Arnold; sisters Darline Harriman, and Susan Yanush and husband Charles; many nieces and nephews; best friend Rick Carter.
At Mark's request, there will be no service. His remains will be scattered in the Atlantic Ocean, where spent so many years serving his country. Messages and memories may be shared with the family at kileyandfoley.com
