Cedric J. Gillespie

Bangor -   No longer able to endure the pain of this life, Cedric Jeffrey Gillespie left us for a better place on July 29, 2018.  He was 23 years old.

Cedric was born on June 16, 1995, the only and beloved child of Kristina Brown and Jeffrey Gillespie.  He was originally from Monson and loved spending time there, always considering it his true home.  Cedric enjoyed music, reading, fishing and vacations at Higgins Beach.  He liked spending time with his friends, hanging out in his garage and making a mess of his room.  He spent many hours fixing up his Ford pick-up truck, his pride and joy, and liked nothing better than to be driving it on dirt roads in the middle of nowhere. 

Cedric was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, David Brown; paternal grandfather, John Gillespie; his favorite aunt, Rachel Brown Ulman; and his collie, Reilly.  He leaves behind his mother, for whom he was the light and love of this world; his mom’s partner, Brett Grandchamp; his Nana, Jean Brown; his uncle, Erik Brown; his aunt, Kelly Brown and her children, Aidan and Catriona; his father, Jeffrey Gillespie and the Gillespie family; and special, life-long friend, Patrick Gamble, whom he considered his brother.
