Obituary of Yvette M. Lamontagne
Oakland - Yvette was 96 years young when she passed away in her sleep on January 25.
Yvette was avid hunter and skier. Yvette enjoyed cooking for the family as well as sewing and knitting. Yvette was also a CNA at local hospitals where she lived for many years. Yvette spent many years of her retirement traveling with her husband Mike. They had homes in both Pittsfield and Florida. Yvette and Mike celebrated their 63rd Wedding anniversary just prior to Mike's death in 2010.
Yvette is survived by three sisters, Rita, Charlene and Joan. Yvette is also survived by one son Michael and his wife Elsa; three daughters Ann and her husband Ronald, Janet, and Karen and her husband Neal.; seven grandchildren Mary, Lori, Lynn, Amy, Jessica, Rebecca and Robinson; seven great-grandchildren Brianna, Tim, Jack, Evelyn, Kate, Teddy and Tucker.
Interment will be held in the spring at the Maine Veterans Cemetery, Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta, ME. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. Messages and memories may be shared with her family at kileyandfoley.com
