Donna V. Corson, 77, wife of Melvin Norman Corson and whom was the love of his life, died January 26, 2020 in Bangor after a battle with cancer. She was born Oct. 15, 1942 in Orono, the daughter of Raymond L. and Mary (Robichaud) Deschane. Donna showed and trained horses for 25 years and showed rabbits for 30 years. She was a member of the Eastern Maine and Maine State Rabbit Breeders . She was also a member of the Lower Connecticut Horseman Association and a member of the Airline ATV Club. Surviving in addition to her husband of Glenburn is one daughter, Leah Jane Corson of Clinton, CT. She was the eldest daughter of 15 children and is survived by Raymond and Lorna, Richard and Arlene, Susan and Dennis Romas-Martinez, Robert and Jan, Roger, Rodney and Delores, Michael, Diana & Ricky Savoy, Joseph & Tina. She was predeceased by a sister, Geneva in 2015. Donna’s family gratefully thanks the staff of Eastside Rehab & Health Center in Bangor for their care and compassion. Family and friends may visit 1 – 3 PM Friday at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor where a service to honor her life will be held at 3 PM as the visitation concludes with the Rev.
