Eleanor E. Bohan Tracy, 75, passed away unexpectedly, May 28, 2020 in Bangor. She was born Aug. 19, 1944 in Bangor, the daughter of Louis J. and Alice A. (England) Bohan. Eleanor was a graduate of Bangor High School and Husson College and worked as a teacher for many years. She also worked for Penobscot County for several years. Eleanor was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister who lived life her way. Her endless, unselfish work to improve the lives of her family and others knew no bounds. When you hear the song, “Amazing Grace,” think of Eleanor. She is survived by her children, Louis R. Tracy and his wife, Rhonda of Millinocket, Arthur L. Tracy and his wife, Nikki of Holden; grandchildren, heather Ambrose, Kristine Hughes and her husband, Timothy, Tyson Tracy, Andrew James and his wife Ashley and Amanda Tracy; great grandchildren, Jenna Ambrose, Aeryahna Glidden, Olin Hughes and Zane Hughes; a sister, Nancy Flagg and her husband, Skip of Holden and a brother, Tom Bohan and his wife, Pam of New Jersey, and several nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by her best friends since high school, Jean Turner and Beverly Cameron. She was predeceased by her parents, by a grandson, Nicholas Tracy, a brother, Louis F. Bohan and sisters, Marilyn Stoner, Jeraldine F. Sprague, Madeline L. Mathews. Eleanor requested that no formal services be held.
