Obituary of Ryan Wayne Hamm

Please share a memory of Ryan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Bradley--Ryan Wayne Hamm, 36, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2020.  He was born March 20, 1984, in Bangor, to Lorrie (Hamm) Mitchell.

Ryan was a devoted father, son, nephew, and friend who was known as everyone’s ‘Gentle Giant’.  Ryan’s children were his greatest pride and joy.  He also loved Mustangs, the New England Patriots, and spending time with his family and friends.  His spirit touched the hearts and lives of so many in his 36 years on earth.  His family, especially his moms, will find comfort in knowing that he has been embraced by his angel grandmothers and aunt in heaven. He will always be remembered for his loving, kind, and gentle spirit.

He is survived by wife Leslie Chauvin; children Parker, Ryan, DeAnna, and Liam; his two moms, Lorrie Mitchell and Sue Elcik of Windham; brothers Rob Chipman of Old Town, Dave Chipman and wife Stacy of Orange City, FL; very special uncle and aunt who thought of him as one of their own, Kim and Beth Hamm of Augusta; very special cousin, who was like a sister, Jena Gallant of Bangor; best friends Jason Thomas of Bradley and Nick Malone of Hudson; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Ryan is soaring the heavens in his Shelby GT Mustang!

Due to Covid-19, there will be no services at this time.  A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, condolences may be sent to his mom at 34 Dutton Hill Rd, Windham, ME 04062.
