Corinth- Ronald J Wilcox Sr, 81, passed away peacefully January 17, 2021 in Bangor. He was born July 4, 1939, the son of William and Phyllis Wilcox of East Corinth.  Ronald was predeceased by his parents and the love his life and wife, Lorraine who died in September of 2020 after 59 years of marriage.

Ron was a machinist and welder by trade who enjoyed rebuilding many old cars and traveling to classic car events.  He belonged to the "Dusters", an antique car club, and traveled with the "Central Maine Street Rods."  He enjoyed wood turning with "The Cellar Boys" and helped others learn this art as well.  Ron was an avid outdoorsman who especially like to hunt and fish and going on adventures with his late wife which included Sunday morning road trips for breakfast.

Surviving are his two children, Karen Alexander of Hudson and Ronald Wilcox Jr of Bangor; three granddaughters, Katey, Emily and Sarah; and four great grandchildren whom he loved immensely.  

A graveside service will be held 11 AM Friday, May 7, 2021 at the Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth, with Pastor Randy Washington, presiding. Memorial donations may be sent to House in the Woods at houseinthewoods.org or Owls Head Transportation Museum at owlhead.org. Arrangements trusted to Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, Bangor and Brewer.  Messages and memories may be shared with Ron's family at kileyandfoley.com.
