Obituary of Mabel Rowena Walker

Glenburn - Mabel Rowena (Thayer, Buzzell) Walker, wife of the late Charles M. Walker, died July 31, 2021, at her home in Hudson. She was born in Glenburn, November 5 1939, the daughter of Herbert Sr. and June Thayer.

 

 

Other than the love for her family, her passions included traveling, four-wheeling, bingo, embroidering and collecting bobble-heads. She was a member of Harvest Moon Grange in Levant.

 

 

She is survived by brother Fred A. Thayer; sister Nadine A. Polisky; many children/step children, Constance and husband William Walker; Brenda and husband Scott Cunningham, Lynn and husband Lee Mallory, Rose and husband Daniel Pearson Jr., Patricia Barr and companion Glen Barr, Jeffrey and wife Ruth Buzzell, Clifford and wife Lori Buzzell, Johnny Walker, Charlotte and husband Doug Reed, Linda and husband Donald Lacadie Sr., and Betsy Ouellette; 31 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by first husband Stillman M. Buzzell; daughter Francis Letourneu; grandson Russell Crouse; brothers Wendall A. Thayer and Herbert A. Thayer Jr. and; sister Linda A. Halloran.

 

 

Funeral services will be held 3 P.M., Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. The service will be livestreamed at the following address starting at 2:45 PM: Click Here for Live Stream
