Obituary of Timothy A. Proulx

With deep sorrow, we announce that Timothy A. “Tim” Proulx lost his courageous battle with cancer on September 7, 2021 at his home with his loving wife Lori by his side.

Tim was self-employed and did everything from commercial diving and harvesting seafood to carpentry. He graduated from Brewer High School and Divers Training Academy in Florida.  Tim was a strong patriarch of his family, a proud man and a good friend to all. He was a man who was always giving and helping out family, friends and even strangers, never asking for anything in return. He was a wonderful father to his daughter, Brittany and did his best to share with her his love of the outdoors from hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and being on the ocean to camping at Sabao with all the brothers and cousins. He loved his two grandsons, William and Jacob and was the proudest Grampa ever.

Tim is survived by his wife Lori and their doggy son, Kizer; his daughter, Brittany Adams and her husband, Benjamin and their sons, William and Jacob; four brothers, Thomas Proulx and his wife, Vicki and their three children, Jeromy Proulx and his wife, Christina, Justin Proulx and his wife, Nanci, Theresa Porter and her husband, Chris and their son, Corbin, Terry Proulx and his daughters, Katie and Kelley Proulx, Ted Proulx and his wife, Leslie and his sons, Alex and Jarrad Proulx and Tracey Proulx and his wife, Robin; very close friend, Carlton Lane, many aunts and cousins and way too many close friends to mention. Tim was predeceased by his parents, Perley and Joyce Proulx.

Burial will be private. A celebration of Tim’s life will be held 3 – 6 PM Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021 at Jeff’s Catering, 15 Littlefield Way, Brewer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Proulx Family, 161 Copeland Hill Road, Holden, ME 04429 to be used for donation to a couple Tim’s favorite outdoor organizations.
