Obituary of George Clinton Allen

George Clinton Allen IV, also known as G4, age 50, of Bangor passed away on December 4, 2021.

 

George graduated from Brewer High School in 1989.  He started his career working as a boat motor mechanic and then as a lead foreman at Eastern Fine Paper.  Ultimately, he became a Master Oil and Propane Technician at R.H. Foster Energy, and currently at Dead River Company. 

 

When he was a young buck, George enjoyed riding and working on his motorcycle with his father, son, and friends.  George’s sense of humor and quick wit would keep everyone laughing. His favorite happy place was spending time at his camp in Aurora with his beloved wife Cathy, his dog Teddy, as well as his good friends Eric, Aaron and Musson.

 

George is survived by his wife and best friend Cathy; parents George C. Allen III (G3) and Pauline (McCue) Allen of Dedham; children George C. Allen V (G5), Desiree and husband Travis Longtin of Bucksport, Spencer and wife Madison Smith of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren Charlotte, Barry, Violet, Ariyah and Elijah; many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including special aunt Pam McCue. He was predeceased by his beloved grandfather George C. Allen, II; grandmother Evelyn; aunt Priscilla, whose relationship he treasured.
