Obituary of Rosemary Jean Bragg

Rosemary “Jean” Bragg, 91, passed away peacefully at home in Eddington with her family on May 22, 2022. 

 

 

Jean worked at the local Post Office and was an active member of the East Eddington Community Church. She was a longtime member of the local Ladies Aid, Extension Club and Historical Society. She was well known in the community and with family for her baking and crafts, especially for her Lemon Meringue Pies and Whoopie Pies. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at camp on Lower Lead Mountain Pond and hosting many lobster feeds.

 

 

She was predeceased by husband, Raymond K. Bragg of Clifton; parents Ray Grover and Inez Norton of Eddington; her three sisters and brother. Jean is survived by children, Patty Rose and husband Jeff, Ruth Ryder and late husband Skip, and Danny Bragg and wife Barbara; special nephew Gary Everett. She will be missed by her seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

 

A graveside service will be held 11 AM, Thursday, May, 26, 2022, at Meadowbrook Cemetery, Route 9, Eddington.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the East Eddington Community Church.
