Obituary of Louise Ann Marie Flagg

Please share a memory of Louise to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Louise A. Flagg (Gosselin), 57, gained her angel wings unexpectedly on October 17th, 2022.  Although unexpected, Louise suffered greatly with her health throughout her life.  She was born to the late Jean-Paul (J.P) and Lucille J. Gosselin on February 10th, 1965.  She spent a lot of her childhood years at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Louise graduated in 1983 from Brewer High School.  After school, she worked with her parents in their Tupperware Distributorship as a bookkeeper.  After Tupperware, she started a long-haul trucking business which allowed her to travel all over the United States. On her trucking journeys, she met many wonderful people and created many memories with her young daughter. When being a dance mom for her daughter, she met Cindy Wruck and that friendship blossomed over the years. Cindy’s granddaughter Ashley, would earn the title of Louise’s “adopted daughter”. Once the trucking business ended, Louise joined St. Teresa’s Catholic Church Sodality Group. When her health allowed, she found a love in line dancing at the Eagle’s Club in Brewer, with her friend Cheryl Hewes. She always went over the top when it came to any type of gathering, party, or special occasion.  She loved doing crafts, so much so, she did all the decorations by hand for her daughter’s wedding (with the help of Jon Pettee and others).  She was very artistic.  She found the best way to utilize her artistic abilities was by creating beautiful pieces of artwork that she shared with her loved ones.  On the weekends she always wanted to be near the water, camping, or being around the fire and playing cards with her closest friends, Patricia Goodin and Paula Allard.

Louise is predeceased by her parents, Jean-Paul (J.P.) A. Gosselin and Lucille J. (LaBranche) Gosselin, infant brother Joseph Gosselin, grandparents Alfred and Bertha Labranche (Michaud) and Archille and Beatrice Gosselin (Coulombe) as well as other extended family members.

Louise is survived by her ‘Twilight Twin’ and Love, Jon Pettee, her only daughter Jenna Pratt and husband Judson, and two grandchildren, Julianna and Jettson (Jett) of Dixmont.  Her eldest brother John A. Gosselin of Orrington and his two children Alexandria and Christopher of New Hampshire and their mother Barbara; James (Jim) P. Gosselin and wife Kellie and their children Kelsey, Kodie and his fiance' Olivia and their daughter Kailani, and Joshua of Bangor. Louise is also survived by her “adopted sister” Peggi Bineau, her husband Jeff, and their children Roxanne Gray and Lexi Klingman; “adopted daughter” Ashley Fickett and husband Jonathan Fickett and grandchild Elsie. And many friends and family.
