Obituary of Amy Lorraine McLaughlin

Eddington & Limestone - Amy Lorraine (Morris) McLaughlin, daughter of Harry M. and Belva (Barnes) Morris was born in Limestone, Maine on March 27, 1932.

Lorraine graduated from Limestone High School class of 1949 and from Husson College in 1951 with an Associate Degree and in 1995 received an Honorary Associate of Science Degree.  Lorraine married a former classmate Louis R.H. McLaughlin in November 1955.  The celebrated 67 years of marriage. Lorraine is a member of the Limestone United Methodist Church and a member of the United Parish Women of Fort Fairfield.  She is also a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority since 1967.

Lorraine is survived by her husband, Louis R.H. McLaughlin of Eddington, four children, G. Reid McLaughlin of Holden and his children Emily and partner Matt, Reid Porter and wife Dominque, Katie and husband Tim and Mikayla and partner Zach, son Richard and wife Paula of Eliot, daughter Laura and husband Richard Adams of Eddington and their children, Rick and wife Anna, Amy and husband Josh and Ryan, son Rodney and his wife Vicki of Levant and their children, Matt and Lauren, sisters Kathryn Andrews of Hockessin, Delaware and Wilma Gene Parker of South Portland, and Sister in Law Edwina Morris of Caribou.  Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, a sister Faye Morris Phair, and her brother Cyrus Morris.

Friends may visit 5 to 7 PM Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State Street, Brewer, Maine. A committal service will be head at the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Limestone, Maine at a future date.
