Obituary of Peter Arvid Rosenberg

Brewer--Peter A. Rosenberg, Jr., died peacefully at home February 4, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born October 24, 1951, in Rumford to Annie (Barnett) and Peter Rosenberg, Sr.

He grew up riding horses, playing the piano, taking dance lessons, and skiing with his four siblings. After graduating from Telstar High School, he briefly attended Husson College where he met his wife, Carol.  They were married on September 16, 1972.  Peter went on to obtain his LPN and worked in several facilities in the Bangor area, including 40 years at the Elizabeth Levinson Center. Besides spending time with his family, Peter enjoyed camping, the casino, and his Camaro convertible. When asked what he wanted to make sure was noted in his obituary, he replied “my dancing at The Bounty.”

He was predeceased by his parents and son Morgan.   Peter is survived by his wife of 50 years Carol; daughter Stephanie and husband Dean Grimble and their sons Michael and Colby; daughter Katie and her sons Marcus, Dominique, and his significant other Marissa; the light of his life, his great-granddaughter Delilah; siblings Edward and Leslie, Donna and Gregory Trundy, Timmy and Sue, Mike and Karen Rosenberg; Aunt Anne and Aunt Gloria; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
