My sincerest condolences to all. From what I knew of Chris he was a quiet man with a love of hunting and fishing. A damn good mechanic with a great sense of integrity. The Maineiacs were fortunate to have him as a member. Left us too soon and that makes me sad. Happy hunting in the new to you hunting and fishing grounds of the universe.

Debbie- being your friend for many years I know your heart is breaking. I noticed early on how much Chris loved you, his family and his country. He gave up a lot of family time in service to this country. I noticed the little things that showed how much he loved you. He always kissed you on the cheek and told you he loved you before he left the house. He was genuine and kind. Although his life was cut short, he led a full life. I hope you will come to find comfort in the great memories you shared. Love, Tricia

Chris was a true friend and mentor. While specific credit is given to developing 73 Airmen throughout Chris’s career, the real number is undoubtedly in the hundreds. Chris was always willing to lend a hand and share his vast knowledge. Chris never looked down on anyone, a true professional with even temper. I owe much of where I am today to Chris. He is deeply missed and will forever hold a spot in the MAINEiacs avionics element. Years from now, someone will answer the phone with his signature, “Grand Central…” or finish an explanation with a classic “yada-yada-yada”. Undoubtedly, someone will remember Chris and laugh. Good bye friend.
