Tina M. Rockwell

Bettina M. Rockwell, 40, passed away peacefully  at her home in Bangor on February 27, 2024 after a year-long battle with cancer. She was born April 20, 1983 in Landstuhl, Germany, the daughter of Phillip L. Rockwell and Marie B. (Sylvester) Rockwell Camp.  On July 2, 2022 she married Jessie Allan- her soul mate and love of her life.  Tina’s favorite flower was the rainbow roses from her wedding which were as breathtaking and fabulous as she was that day.

Tina and her wife Jessie managed the Country Inn at the Mall in Bangor for many years.  They went on frequent road trips and attended concerts as often as possible, even spending their honeymoon at a music festival where they could see their favorite band Moe. .  Her love of music was only surpassed by her love for her kitties and sweet little Billy was a huge comfort to her as he was always by her side (honorable mention though to MoeMoe, Gerbert, Lucy, Cookie, and Rikki).

She loved her sons, Brady and Drake, with her whole heart, and her boys loved her back just as much.  She could brighten a room just by entering it with her passion for life and easy smile.  She will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have known such a kind, strong, compassionate, beautiful person.  Her spirit will live on through her boys and her wife as she will continue to give them strength and comfort as they strive to make her proud.

Surviving in addition to her wife, Jessie Allan of Bangor are two sons, Brady Cooper and Drake Nesin both of Bangor; one brother, Christopher Rockwell of Milford; her parents, Phillip Rockwell and his wife, Anita of Dallas, TX and Marie Camp and her husband, Scott of Milford; her grandfather, Harrison Sylvester of Bangor; mother-in-law, Kay Allan of Thomaston; special friend, Matt Nesin of Glenburn; soul sisters Susan Olson, Tammy Belanger, Anjee Ketch; and countless relatives, friends, and famoe.ly who will forever hold her in their hearts.

A celebration of life service will be held in May for family and friends.  We can share stories and memories of a beautiful human who was taken from us far too soon.  May we one day join her in her happy place, a field of roses, dancing to Moe., admiring a gorgeous double rainbow.

Messages and memories may be shared with her family here on the tribute wall.
