Obituary of Charles E. Seger
Brewer – Charles E. Seger, Jr., 80, husband of Jeannette G. (Violette) Seger passed April 30, 2024 in Brewer after a brief illness. He was born Jan. 16, 1944 in Portland, the son of Charles E. Seger and Pauline Lewis.
Charles worked for many years as a painting contractor. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and woodworking. He was a guitarist and loved spending time with his family playing music and telling jokes. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was 40 years sober when he passed.
Surviving are five children, Michale Smith and her husband Alfred, Debra Moody, Laura Heroux, Chuck Seger, and Bethany Seger; grandchildren Basil Littlefield, Angela Drinkwater, Michael Littlefield, Austin Seger, Courtney Cassidy and many more grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Helen Marquis. He was predeceased by a brother and sister, Raymond and Madeline.
Family and friends may visit 11 AM to 1 PM Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer where a service honoring his life will be held at 1 PM as the visitation concludes.
