Obituary of Patricia E. Adams
Patricia E. Adams, 85, passed away on Sept 18, 2024 in Bangor. She was born in Caribou, Maine, the daughter of Edmund and Ida Sirois and grew up on the family potato farm. After high school, Pat moved to Bangor and was introduced to her husband, Ellery Adams, Jr. by his mom who worked at American Felt Slipper with her. Pat worked at Sears & Roebuck and JC Penney in automotive sales and retired from Eastern Maine Medical Center as a phlebotomist. She was loved for her outgoing, fun loving and ready to shop til’ you drop personality.
Pat was predeceased by her husband, Ellery and is survived by two sons, Scott Adams and his wife, Melissa, Jeffrey Adams; grandchildren, Bryan, Amy, Ashleigh and Kevin; great grandchildren, Edison, Emma and Evan; one brother, Ronald Sirois and his wife, Patricia.
Special thanks to all the staff of the Maine Veterans Home in Bangor for such wonderful care and the friends she became close with, Auntie Pat for always being there for Mom and to dear friend, Mary Goody for her special friendship and many Saturday night church dinner dates.
A graveside service and committal will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta where she will rejoin her husband, Ellery. Messages and memories of Pat may be shared with her family on the tribute wall of kileyandfoley.com.
